Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about TeachMeUp.

General

TeachMeUp is an online platform that allows professional trainers to create quizzes, manage learner groups and run interactive training sessions.

Yes, the Basic plan is completely free. It allows you to create up to 15 active quizzes with a maximum of 40 questions per quiz. The Starter Pro plan (EUR 9.90/month) offers advanced features like categories, quiz import and detailed statistics.

The TeachMeUp interface is available in French, English and Spanish.

Learners

Your trainer will send you an email invitation or share an access code. You can join the group from your dashboard in the 'My Groups' section.

From your dashboard, you'll see the list of available quizzes. Click the 'Play' button to start. You can filter by type: All, Exams, Groups or To do.

After completing a quiz, your results are displayed immediately: score, response time and detailed corrections. You can also track your overall progress from your dashboard.

A live session is a quiz facilitated in real time by your trainer. All participants answer simultaneously and a leaderboard is displayed at the end.

Trainers

From your Trainer Dashboard, click 'Create a Quiz'. Fill in the title, description, duration and minimum score. Then add your questions (single or multiple choice) with answers and feedback.

From the 'Groups' tab, create a group with a name and description. You'll receive a unique access code to share with your learners. You can also invite them by email.

From a quiz page in your group, click 'Session'. Learners see questions in real time. You control the pace and the leaderboard is displayed live.

The Basic plan allows 15 quizzes (40 questions max), without categories or import. The Pro plan offers unlimited quizzes, question categories, CSV/XLSX import, random ordering, advanced statistics and priority support.

To import, click 'Import Quizzes' from your dashboard and upload a CSV or XLSX file. To export, use the CSV or XLSX buttons on the quiz edit page. Download the template from the import page for the exact format.

Export your quiz (CSV or XLSX), modify the file in Excel or Google Sheets, then re-import it. TeachMeUp automatically detects changes and shows a confirmation page where you choose for each modified question between cosmetic correction or new version.

Excel automatically reformats some values when opening a CSV: booleans uppercased (True becomes TRUE), numbers truncated, date-like text converted. To avoid this, prefer the XLSX format for the export-modify-reimport cycle.
